Hooray for Hollywood Important...

Hooray for Hollywood 2010 was Friday night. I do the hosting duties and act as traffic director on the mic. With that said..it's the Women's Community annual fundraiser which they now have down to a science. It's fun. The theme is "dress like you're going to the Oscars or like a character from a movie. Or come like you're in the Blue Man Group..this guy had it going on. The reason why this dinner is important is because of what the Women's Community does for our area. It's stuff you don't want to talk about. Sheltering women and children from abusive home lives. Lives that they try to move on from and somehow move forward. The stats are not pretty. The task is not easy. But the Women's Community finds the strength to do the job and help those who need it. That's why it's easy for me to do whatever they need. ((Bonus Keyword: "Hooray"))
